Brief: Front and back end development. Platform: WordPress.
Chemmart is a national chain of over 300 pharmacies and they wanted a blog. Their ad agency contracted me to do front-end and back-end development of the site using WordPress for the platform. My base theme was Underscores.
The designs were supplied as desktop-only PSDs, so I needed to do plenty of in-browser design to make the site responsive.
The article pages feature “recommended products” in the sidebar, which are entered as a code in custom meta field in the admin. When the article is loaded, the code is used to perform a remote lookup of XML data to retrieve the recommended products data.
