The VisitCanberra website is a responsive destination marketing site for Australia's capital city that features integrated real-time accommodation, tour and ticket booking.
I was part of a four person design team that created over 120 screens to show desktop, tablet and mobile versions of the site. We also created multi-device prototypes of various interactions using Zurb Solidify.
Front-end development is based on Bootstrap 2 with a back-end CMS custom built with Symphony.
One of the benefits of being a developer on a design-only project is that I can speak the same language as devs and in a lot of instances – particularly when working on CMS driven projects – I can tell the dev how I foresee a particular design-pattern being coded – think repeating patterns & using nth-child for instance.
