APT SnapnSend App Redesign

  • UX Design
  • UI Design

The APT SnapnSend app was initially designed in 2012. I was tasked with redesigning both the UX and UI to make the app easier and more enjoyable to use.

Home screen. Now showing previously send cards which you can scroll through to resend. Take photo screen. Not that you'd get such nice zoom on an iPad ;-) Browse photo library screen. Tapping a thumbnail drops the library view down to reveal the large image above. This is the edit card screen where you can type a note to the card recipient. Preview the front of the card, complete with APT branding. Final preview screen before sending the card.

After initial research, I removed many of the friction points I identified, and deciced the user flow should be more linear, and in turn take less steps.

I also replaced many of the old patterns with more well established ones, intergrated iOS Contacts, and moved the sent cards to the start screen. Tools used: Sharpie, MindNode Pro, Sketch, InVision.
